Here we go…the “About Me” section!

  • My name is Hannah, but my friends rarely call me that.  I answer to Han, Ham, Hamlet, Hammie, Schwab, Schwabbie…pretty much anything close to my name:)
  • I’m 22 years old.  Yes, my roommates and I blasted T-Swift’s song 22 in our room and continue to do it for every 22nd birthday.
  • I have one sibling – a sister – who is 2 1/2 years younger than me. To. The. DAY! Mine: September 23; hers: March 23
  • I’m a senior at Trinity Christian College (go TROLLS!!) I’m graduating in May with a double major in Theology and Church and Ministry Leadership.
  • I love RUNNING! I run cross country and track at college.  9 years of running cross country just came to a close, BUT there’s still track so I don’t have to say good-bye to my teammates quite yet! Whenever I’m home and have to log my big miles for the week I typically call up my best friend and we run 10 miles together, talking the entire time, catching up on life, and end up having more to talk about while stretching.  For me, running is the best way to spend alone time with God, build relationships with people, and catch up on life with loved ones.
  • During my sophomore year of college I studied abroad in Quito, Ecuador for the fall semester….and now I get to go back to that beautiful country with my team!!!
  • The summer going into 8th grade I decided to go all out for Jesus and follow HIM. This happened while I was at church camp.  Because of the impact this camp had on me I was involved in it throughout high school and for the past 2 summers I was a camp counselor.  Without a doubt I had the best summer job in the world! I got to hang out with and love on children and youth 24/7 and tell them about Jesus!
  • I love love LOVE the mountains! My dad and I try to find every excuse to go to Colorado and hike them.
  • I currently live with 4 other girls in a college dorm.  Through this experience I have seen what it means to live in a Christian community as mentioned in Acts 2 — it’s quite beautiful.  It is always mass chaos in our room but I love it!
  • I recently found out that I’m allergic to nuts and eggs. That means no peanut butter:( or baked goods unless I bake them myself with egg replacer.
