First off, I would like to thank everyone who has been supporting me prayerfully during this time before heading out in September. I’m reminding myself day in and day out to lay all of my trust on the Lord. If the Race is part of His plan for me then He will provide! THANK YOU!!!
Second, I would also like to thank everyone who has supported me financially. I have only been fundraising for around a month and God has already provided for my first deadline! God is SO GOOD! Third, I would like to provide everyone with another opportunity to support me financially. You will not only be supporting me, BUT, most importantly you will be providing a child with food and care. The World Race has partnered up with Food for the Hungry so that whenever a child is sponsored through my blog for 12 months I will receive a $50 scholarship. You get the chance to personally provide for a child and help me help others. All you have to do is click on the green Food for the Hungry box on the left side of my blog. If you feel like you may not have the finances to sponsor a child on your own for 12 months I recommend partnering with another family, friend, or even roommates. What could be better than joining together with your closest friends to sponsor a child for the Kingdom?!
