It’s been a while! It’s been a weepy few days. Much love.

For the last week I’ve been in Wiang Pa Pao, Thailand, at a home for girls called Sending Hope International. This week is camp for the girls and any and all kids in the surrounding villages to come and experience camp, some for the first time. The kids range from age 6 to 17, though most are around 10 years old. Each night of camp, after a day full of activities and games, we all gather together – staff and campers – for worship and sharing of the gospel.

Here is a little excerpt from my journal, because quite frankly that’s all I got right now folks!

“Sweet goodness. I pray I never forget tonight. Night 2 of Trail to Life Camp. In typical fashion they started with Bible quizzing. Goodness, these children know more than I do. Thank you Jesus for yet again more gentle conviction. After that we prayed and started JOYOUS worship. Worship completely saturated in abandoned joy. Thank you, Jesus. After worship, Peace, (the Thai coordinator who has sacrificed so much to love and provide for these beautiful babes) in Thai, instructed them to pray over US (unbeknown to my team and I.) US, who came to bless and pray for them. At one point I opened my eyes while I was praying out loud for them, to see myself surrounded by beautiful girls, hands outstretched praying for ME. Then one of the older girls told me, “We pray for YOU, Hannah.” Father, how many tears can I shed? Sweet Jesus thank you. My heart is weepy, my heart is breaking, in the sweetest of ways. I’m truly wrestling these heart wrenching pangs of love. Jesus let me be overcome with your unending well of love. Jesus, I will run dry and SOON. I don’t have much, if anything, to give. Sweet Father I need your steadfast love to overcome my heart and my view. I love you sweet Jesus. I love you, too. I stand with hands open.”
