6 hour drive to the middle of the jungle on the second most dangerous road in Costa Rica…
My type of day.
Besides getting really close and personal with my sweaty but lovely team in the car.
The ice cream shop by our ministry building was delicious. The Banana trees made me want a monkey and the people are beautiful.
We spent the weekend in an indiginous town spreading the gospel through medical work and childrens ministry. You need your blood pressure taken? Don’t worry. I’ve got you covered.
At night we hosted a concert, in spanish.
Plot twist: I don’t know spanish.
It was one of the most surreal moments I’ve ever experienced though. So much joy. So much love. We sang, danced and worshiped Jesus. Because, he is bigger than a language barrier.
Two languages. One God. One mission.
This is living. This is Jesus working. This what I want my life to be about. To know, follow and testify the depth of a supernatrual God.The World Race is changing me. It’s changing the people we’re with and the way we see Jesus.
This is what I’m racing towards … (see what I did there?).
The best part? We just started.
