Okay so some of you may find what I am about to say hard to believe.  But please read with an open mind…..

I seriously think that Massachusetts is part of Narnia.

Really.  Seriously.  For Reals.  I have put together a list of rather compelling evidence.

* I went for a walk today and more then once thought I was in Narnia with Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy.  The snow was melting, the ice was cracking, the sun was shining, I could peel off my winter coat and just enjoy the beauty around me.  This is what happened when Aslan returned to Narnia in the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.  The white witch’s reign was ending and this was confirmed by the changes in the weather around them.  So, all of you in those warm states of California and the South: you can’t possibly be Narnia because you don’t even really know what snow is.

(This could totally be a Narnian forest!)

* We have lots of squirrels, birds, and other woodland creatures who I am sure can talk.  They just chose not to because we humans have stopped believing they can.  Also, I swear I saw a faun with a red scarf on the other day- Mr. Tumnus???  Maybe.

* Now, I may not have a “wardrobe” but I have HUGE closet that could easily fit multiple winter coats, boots, and 4 children.  I truly think its possible that my closet is actually a portal to/from Narnia.  Sometimes I hear weird noises coming from my closet, I assume it’s the cats but maybe its someone trying to get to Narnia……

(Doesn’t this look like a portal into another world?)

* I have seen some mysterious tracks in the snow….like something that could belong to a large cat….aka, a lion….but I have not seen said lion yet.  That would be very much like Aslan to not make an appearance right away but to allude to His presence instead.

(this is a lion I DID see….except it was in South Africa….on safari…but, there could be one like this around Haverhill….)

* Also, Massachusetts boarders the Atlantic Ocean.  Narnia also boarders an ocean/sea…..I mean, I don’t even need to clarify this point.  That’s how obvious it is.

* Not only do we have an ocean we have islands- Nantucket? Martha’s Vineyard?  You want to know where else has islands?  Narnia.  Bam.  Nailed it.

(Maps of Massachusetts and Narnia…totally looks the same right?!)

* I am sure we have a lamp post somewhere in this state, just like Narnia does.  In fact, I am pretty sure that we even have one in my town of Haverhill, Ma.  So really, that just seals the deal.

(Here you go, a lamp post in Massachusetts)

There you go.  The evidence is clear.  I live in Narnia.  You can’t refute it.  I have more evidence but I don’t even need to use it.  I know that all of you out there who don’t live in Massachusetts wish that you were living in Narnia, but unfortunately you are not.  Sorry.  But, Aslan calls people from your world to visit ours all the time.  So, don’t you fret.  You will get here one day.
