Badda Bing, Badda Boom

Badda Bing Badda Boom. 
The moment has come.  God
has spoken and E Squad has 3 new squad leaders.  One of the main reasons I came back out on the field to lead
is now happening.  Part of Lindsay,
Allan, and myself’s role as an Alumni Squad Leader is to raise up new squad
leaders to take over when we leave. 
The end of month 3 (the end of Nicaragua for us) was the moment this
happened.  After we debrief the
squad in Cambodia the beginning of May, Lindsay, Allan, and myself part ways
from E Squad and the three new leaders fully step into their new role and new
authority.  They will be the ones
with vision for the squad, pouring into the team leaders, fighting daily for
this amazing group of people.  I am
blessed and humbled to be leading aside these 3 this month in Thailand and I
can’t wait to see where God takes E Squad!  So without further ado, please meet—–

 

Jamie Smucker: 

Peace. 
Trustworthiness. 
Honor.  Integrity.  These are the words that describe
Jamie.  He is a man of God, a man
after God’s own heart.  He loves to
worship.  He walks in such intimacy
with the Lord.  People
instinctively trust him, because he is genuine and honors those around
him.  He is a man of conviction who
lives above reproach.  I know E
squad is going to walk closer with the Father with Jamie stepping into the
authority of squad leader.  Don’t
let his quiet demeanor and peaceful presence fool you though- he is a goofball
through and through!

 

Leah Johnson:

Beautiful daughter of God! 
She is a prophetic warrior for His Kingdom!  She speaks boldly and with confidence.  She has a heart of compassion and
worship.  God blows her mind daily
(read Genesis 1:1).  She fears the
Lord and walks in love. I know God is going to use her to encourage and
strengthen the women of this squad in their identities as His daughters, His
bride, His chosen, His LOVED, His beautiful, cherished, beloved child.  She desires depth, yet loves a good
dance party!  She is one of my most
absolute favorite sisters and I love the way God has designed her.  He is so intentional! 

 

Joshua Savage: 

Man of God!  The words that
come to mind when describing Joshua are: 
steadfast, firm, wise, intentional, bold, and hilarious.  Seriously, he is one of the funniest
people I have ever met.  He daily
makes those around him laugh.  He
truly cares for each individual person on this squad and desires to have
meaningful relationships with all those he meets.  God speaks to him in such a unique way and he brings a
needed, fresh perspective.  
Also, it was once said that “no woman can shake her hips like he
can.â€�  Seriously, he has some sweet
dancing skills.
