So just a quick little update for everyone…..Myself and my entire squad are not yet in Nicaragua. The estimated date of arrival in Nicaragua was July 1st, but due to all that is happening in Honduras the borders were closed, basically blocking our planned path from Guatemala. Instead we were re-routed to Antigua, Guatemala, where we will be staying until Monday or Tuesday. We are all safe and enjoying quality time with the entire squad, as well as debriefing our first month of ministry and community living. Probably the most exciting part of being in Antigua right now is that the October 2008 team is also here debriefing and preparing for their last 2 months on the field! It has been really helpful and encouraging to talk with them and tonight we will get to worship with one another.
