Salutations! My name is Hannah. I am currently a senior education major at Truett McConnell University in Cleveland, Ga, but I live in Griffin, Ga with my amazing family of four. I am the baby of the family and tend to keep everyone laughing and on their toes.
Random Facts: I could live off sweet tea. I bake really good chocolate chip cookies. I have always been a grade ahead in school so I will graduate from college a week after I turn 21. I enjoy making new friends and listening to all of their stories. I am an avid napper and tend to procrastinate.
I first heard about the World Race when a girl from my church went on it, but I had not given it any thought afterwards. But with senior year suddenly upon me, I needed to decide what I would be doing with my life after graduation. As a procrastinator, I was thinking of putting this decision off for as long as possible, but then the Lord started working. One day the World Race randomly popped up on my Facebook newsfeed, and I clicked on it. After hours of scrolling, reading, and putting off homework, I texted my mom and asked her for her thoughts on it. Moms always know best, so how could it go wrong? She told me to pray about it first, then apply and let God do the rest. A week and a half later, I was accepted and awestruck at how God moves in such crazy ways such as random Facebook ads to start a chain reaction in my head and to get me to where and what He is calling me to be.
I have been on many mission trips to several different countries and have formed relationships with some of the coolest people in the world. I know God has given me a heart for people and the gospel for a reason. I am beyond excited to share all of my journey with not only my teammates, but also all of the people who wish to support me.
