The World Race has officially begun. We spent our first night in the Atlanta airport last night, I’m currently sitting at Gate T11, and this is getting very, very real.
The past couple weeks have been an emotional roller coaster. Quitting my job, moving out of my apartment, moving back home, saying goodbye to friends and family and a real bed. There have been a couple days where it was a struggle to keep it together and there was one night where I started sobbing in the kitchen and my dad had no idea what to do.
But now I’m calm, which, if I’m honest, is party because I got an hour and a half of sleep last night. But I also know this is where I’m supposed to be and what I’m supposed to be doing. It’s crazy to think that before I was born God was like “Yep. I’m going to send Hannah on this crazy missions trip. It’s going to be awesome.” He definitely knew what he was doing, cause I’m PUMPED.
Please be praying for me and my team as we travel and for our first month in Haiti!
See ya in 11 months.
