Well, the name's Hannah ..and ..
I have never written in a blog before, I usually tend to just puke all my thoughts through the keyboard and become too analytical and critical of those thoughts, and that's probably why I have never blogged before. Haha. But I am always excited to do things outside of what I would typically do and this is something new to me ..so dear friends, bare with me 🙂
Well, for starters, I have no idea how I got here but I am soooo greatful for this time in my life. Christ has taught me a lot about who I am in the past year and how desperately I need Him and how it's good to do things that may seem unattainable. (for example, the world race) ..Things that allow Christ to display His power and intimacy through our lives. I often look at humanity around me, at work, home, or just at the store, and feel completely mingled and lost in the chaos of the world. There is this sobering thought of being 1 amongst 7 billion others in the world and the result is often feeling so small and disoriented. But then Christ, with all gentleness and peace whispers in my ear that we are all created with love. We are all divine art. Created from His image. And because we are created our very soul crys out to its Creator and by His immense grace He shines His magnificent Light upon us, opening our eyes to His glory unseen. And this is why we live, we live so that He may shine through us and so that others might see His beauty and intoxicating love though us! The eternal hope and purpose of the Gospel completely overwhelms me and fills me such joy that I can't stand to sit still. I must tell people, I must travel the world, and I must love with the love of Christ and look on all with the campassionate eyes of our beautiful Savior. Our lives are so short here on earth and we indeed have a massive mission at hand. And this is why I am going on the World Race, simply to love others and allow Christ to use me, break me, and sanctify me closer to His heart. The joy of knowing Christ and the comfort found there within is truly breath taking. We serve a holy Father, may He grant us the faith, mercy, and grace to live as He did, with a serving spirit and selfless heart. Life is beautiful folks.
