I am still letting this whole idea of The World Race seep into my reality. It’s so humbling that God would choose someone like me to show His love to the fatherless.
Why would God choose me to begin with? He knows that I’ve messed up pretty bad in life. He knows that I still mess up. He knows that I am not the most qualified for this. I am graduating from college in May and will have thousands of dollars of student loans to pay back. I need to go to grad school apparently. I have family and friends that I will miss like crazy! It’s going to be expensive, can I raise enough money? I can list all these reasons why I shouldn’t go on The Race. However, despite everything that Satan is throwing at me, I know that I need to be on this race. God has called me for such a time as this. This is my time!
So, in July 2015, I, Hannah Jones, will be flying across the world to represent Jesus to a multitude of people, or just one person. Crazy. Amazing. Overwhelming. Indescribable. All I can do is literally weep with happiness and excitement every time I picture all of the incredible people I will meet and their stories I will get to hear. The best part is, I get to tell them about their perfect creator and how beautiful they are! I can hardly wait!
Starting in July, these are the 11 countries I will be in for 11 months:
