Isaiah 41:9-10
9 I took you from the ends of the earth,
from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’;
I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
My favorite verse is Isaiah 41:10. It reminds me not to fear. It tells me that in my weakest moments my God will uphold me. He will follow through always! He will raise me up in a mighty way. It’s hard for me to come to terms with that sometimes. It’s sometimes hard to realize that the one who created me wants me to succeed. He hasn’t created me for failure, he will prevent failure in my life.
I say all this to say, although I love verse 10, I never really thought about verse 9. He made us to serve him. He created us to serve him. Like I said before, he hasn’t called us to fail. He has called to succeed…in serving him.
This Race is my calling to serve. This is my chance to be completely in his will. To do exactly what I’ve been created for. I’m scared. I’m worried I won’t make it. It’s anxiety provoking. However, if I lean on these two verses, I can have hope that he won’t let me fall.
HELP ME ACHIEVE MY CALLING. Help me serve the world. Support me.
