I had the extreme pleasure of meeting an artist named Richard this month in Rwanda. He has done artwork all over our little village and inside the church. My host gave me an opportunity to paint a mural of the church’s logo with Richard, and I couldn’t have been more overjoyed!
I had been missing painting immensely, and not only was I able to take part in an activity that I love, but I was also able to do it in God’s name, connecting with a fellow artist from across the world.
Richard told me he had been meaning to paint the mural, but it kept being put off. When he found out I was an artist and I would be helping him he said, “This was all in God’s plan.” I’m very humbled to have been placed at a ministry where I could use my artistic gifts to bless others. The Lord is so good to me.
