In September T-squad was in Coleraine, Northern Ireland.  We were very blessed to be working with Causeway Coast Vineyard Church.  This church has shown us how churches should truly function if they want to reach people.  Everything that they do goes back to the community.  If a ministry is not reaching the community in some way then they will reevaluate it.  Because they have so many ministries what we did each day varied.  The ministries I was most involved in were the textile recycling and the cleaning of a warehouse.  While these ministries do not seem all that exciting, they were a huge blessing for me.

For textile recycling we sorted clothing and reorganized the storage facilities as well as prepared for a giant yard sale that took place at the church.  The cleaning of the warehouse was a big task.  This warehouse was an old saw mill that was just filled with extra odds and ends from the church and all of its ministries.  We managed to organize and sort everything and then clean the entire facility in about a week and a half.

While I did mostly manual labor last month I still had the pleasure of meeting some incredible people and seeing God move in some amazing ways.  The church members are the most genuine and generous people that I have ever met.  We had so many people donate their time and money to make sure that we were taken care of.

While we had a lot of comforts in Ireland God still taught me a lot about myself.  I found myself opening up to the squad and being more self-confident in who God created me to be.  I am starting to discover the gifts God has given me and I have been trying to use them more.
