This month past month we were in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal. I came into Nepal very excited for colder weather and mountains and I was not disappointed. It actually felt like November.
(Imagine a beautiful picture of a gorgeous mountain view as the sunsets that I couldn't get to upload.)
My month in Nepal was very different from the months past. Instead of having a contact that we did ministry with we searched for new contacts for future World Race teams. The only stipulation that we had was that we had to stay in Nepal. Other than that we could go anywhere we wanted and follow God’s direction. We ended up in Pokhara, Nepal which is the second biggest city in Nepal and everyday looked different. We started by looking up ministries in the area online and networking with different people. By the end of the month we had visited orphanages, worked with a local church, fellowshipped with local missionaries, visited a rural village, and worked with a women’s sustainability program. Overall, this past month was a great one. I really enjoyed working with new ministries everyday and watching our team grow.
I still need $2,755.00 to be fully funded by January 1st. I am blown away by how generous everyone has been in helping support me on the World Race. If you want to make a donation just scroll up to the top of the page and click on the “Support Me” link in the left hand corner.
