Here’s another blog with information about Guatemala!!
If you don’t know why I’m talking to you about Guatemala, here’s what’s going on…
The area we are traveling to in Guatemala is full of pagan rituals and idol worship. There is an immense amount of darkness in the area but we believe our God is so much bigger. He has given multiple people visions of a team of Levites hiking the the high places to worship and pray over the land. In Biblical Israel the tribe of Levi was chosen to devote all of their efforts and time to ministering to the Lord. They camped closest to the tabernacle, spending their time in the presence of the Lord.
So, we are going down to join members of the Adventures Long-term bases in Antigua and Lake Atitlan to do just that: to spend time in the presence of the Lord on the high places used for ritual worship. We believe, without a doubt, that that Lord responds to our worship. When the glory of the Lord enters a space, light is shed– defeating all darkness– and the place is changed. The presence of the Lord changes everything. So, we go to Guatemala to worship our Faithful, Loving Father… and as He responds, Guatemala will never be the same.
This sounds like quite the undertaking, I know. But we believe the Lord has called us to Guatemala for such a time as this. He has a plan and a purpose for our journey there and is faithful to provide and protect. He’s a good Father and we are trusting Him for protection and any ‘success’ is His alone. We are simply His obedient children following His lead.
Would you be interested in being a part of this journey?
It’s not possible without people just like you partnering with us.
In order to go to Guatemala this month I have to have the funds raised by NEXT WEEK.
Also, the prices on flights have gone up so I am in need of $800 for the trip!
If you’d like to give you can do so by clicking the ‘Please Support Me!’ tab on the left.
Love and blessings,
