In my last blog, I went into detail about our prayer walk through Darwin. I thought I'd share a bit about the other part of our ministry. We spent the day at Vinnies, a men's home, today.

My teammate, Celeste and I had the opportunity to assist in cooking lunch for all the men.

I soon realized how much fun he is…

He's very blunt. I told him at the start that I was a bit of a novice when it comes to cooking. As I worked he would stop me. "No, no, no… stop. Like this." And he'd show me how to do it correctly.

It was a lot of fun. We made Beef stir-fry, egg fried rice, and a quiche. I learned proper chopping techniques, how to cook with a wok, and a cool new way to cook eggs. And I can proudly say that I made it out of the kitchen with only two minor injuries. I call that success.
