It took 50 hours, a bus, two trains, three planes, and stepping foot in four different countries, but I am in Romania and loving it! The architecture is beautiful, the food is delicious, and we are spending the month with the fabulous Team Relentless!
Me and my team enjoying Timisoara, Romania on travel day!

This month we are working with an orginaization called Caminul Felix, which means Happy Family. Caminul Felix takes abandoned, orphaned, and handicapped children and places them in a loving family. They built a village of houses and found parents that were willing to give thier lives to care for these children. Each set of parents was/is given 12-16 children, variying in age, and a family is created. The parents don't work; The orginization fund raises support for each child, the parents only job is to care for these children. You can see the benefits of this reflected in the lives of the children, and young adults that we have met here. It has been a blessing to spend time with these families. I love playing with all the kids in village two.

The compund we are staying on, not only houses all the families, but has a dairy farm, a mechanics shop, and a sewing shop. As the kids get older they can work at any of these places, and all the proceeds go to Caminul Felix. We are staying in a house that is right by the barn and I love going to visit all the new calves that are born here! I even helped bottle feed them one day.
We spend time with different families in the afternoon, and in the morning we help build more houses on the property. The houses we are building are called transitional houses. They are for parents that have been here a while and only have a few children left that are still at home. They move into the smaller houses so that a new family can move into the larger house, and more Romanian children can have a home. Camunil Felix is an amazing orginization that is dedicated to bettering the lives of the children they take in, and putting them in a realy family structure. The whole community has been so kind and open with us; I have loved working with them!!
