I will begin this blog by relaying some excellent news, I AM FULLY FUNDED!!
Thank you so much to ALL those who supported me! (Finacially and Emotionally!)
I have felt so loved through out the whole process of fundraising; the generosity of the people in my life is beyond humbling. Second Corinthians tells us :
"You must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion. For God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9.7
and that is exactly what I encountered while I was fundraising, cheerful givers. When I first signed up for the race I was daunted by the thought of fundraising, but it ended up being such an encouraging and beautiful expreince.
Secondly,I am proud to introduce you to my new team! Team Genuine :
LOVE THESE LADIES. They are all amazing girls; I am pumped to be on an all womens team. There is a levelof community and closeness you can find with women that you just can't find anywhere esle. And clearly I am excited to still be on a team with my old teammates Sarah and Molly.
I am so looking forward to the rest of the time that I have with my new team!
The third and final bit of good news: My team is being very well taken care of here in Moldova. We are living and working at a Church in Ungheni. All of the church members here have shown us somuch love! We have spent a lot of time with the youth of the Church. We have all felt encouraged by them, thier faith, and thier openness with us.
These guys are the best!!! My biggest hope is that we can bless them as much as they have blessed us!
It has been such a good month so far, I can't wait to the what the last two weeks will bring π
