The number 11 is significant for the World Race (hence the #11n11..) so I thought in addition to posting my recap video every month, I’d let y’all know 11 things that were added to my brain!
1. My Spanish is no bueno. The language barrier was harder than I expected.
2. Cliff bars were a good idea.
3. You can get a cappuccino and a pastry for less than 2 USD. Uh-yes.
4. Water can seep through the bottom of your tent even if there ain’t a hole.
5. Ziplocs. For everything.
6. Always have a waterproof case on your phone when you sit on sketchy bridges by volcanoes.
7. 23rd birthdays are my new favorite.
8. If if sit in the sunshine on the back of a pick up truck with the speakers blasting country, it almost feels like home
9. Texas two stepping is even more fun when you learn how to do it.
10. It is possible to rain 23 days in a row
11. Brown and black and navy can all be worn together and the world doesn’t end..
