So…it’s high time for an update, eh?

After a 5 hour flight from LA followed by a 6 hour layover (that’s a LOT of banagram time!) and a 15 hour non-stop flight, you’d think I’d be ready to run a marathon to stretch my legs…but I love you guys so much that here I sit, blogging.
First of all, a BIG OL’ THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me! I am nearly $1,000 away from my goal of $14,300!  God is so good 🙂

In the past 20 hours of flight, I sat down and just reflected. Where I’ve been, where I’m going…and of course had some great conversations with my seat neighbor.  I was listening to a song from AJ Cheek’s EP called “bird’s eye view”. You can guess what it talks about. But it was so fitting! Travel just gives you a different perspective…

On the literal side…it. is. BREATHTAKING. God knew what He was doing when He breathed the world into existence. It never ceases to astound, humble, and amaze me.  The journey itself is magnificent.

We are still in transit to Thailand. It’s going to be another long day! But I can’t wait to get there and dive into the work we are doing there and in each successive country. Pray as we discover the culture and seek to bring the Hope of the nations! Pray for favor. Pray for protection. And be excited to see what comes next!

Leaving those whom I love the most and spend nearly all of my time with was TOUGH! But the whole way, I just put these verses on repeat in my head…

Mark 10:29
“But anyone who gives up houses or brothers or sisters or mother or father or property for my sake with receive 100x as much in return and will inherit eternal life”

and Isaiah 26:3…
“For you, O LORD, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in You.”

This is not my most eloquent blog. My brain is fried from 2 days straight of travel, but I want to be intentional now with keeping you informed as I can!
Adieu for now…Hong Kong has a Starbucks.  🙂
