About 13 months ago I started on this incredible journey known as The World Race.
Although I didn’t actually leave on the journey until 6 months ago, I started the process of preparing to leave in late April.
Fundraising was the one part of the journey that I was not excited for.
I would get really nervous thinking about it, I didn’t think that I could raise that much money.. who would want to give that to me?
I wasn’t trusting in God to bring the funds in, I was trying to do it all in my own strength to prove that I could do it.
It wasn’t until the morning of my first garage sale that I started to surrender it all to the Lord. I remember driving to Ingles to get change and just praying that if this was what God wanted me to do, that I needed Him to show up because it needed to be all about Him.
I was blown away by how He showed up that day!
After that I had a peace about this journey that He wanted me on, He has shown up and provided before every deadline in the smallest of ways!
13 months later I am still blown away by how God provides!
I can now officially say that I am FULLY FUNDED! It has been a journey in and of itself, but I am so thankful for what I was taught through it all!
Thank you so much to everyone who has been apart of this journey so far, because of your constant prayer and support I am now in Month 7 of my race! I am so beyond thankful for every single one of you, God has seriously blessed me with the most amazing support system back home!
I am now in Siem Reap, Cambodia about to start my 7th month of ministry with my team! Please continue to pray for health and safety, and that God would continue to show up and move in this wonderful country!!
