Tomorrow afternoon my parents will be joining me for a week in the Dominican for a part of the race that is called Parent Vision Trip.Just like the World Race was my first mission trip, this will be their very first time out of the country!
To say I am excited is an understatement!
I am excited to hug them after 8 months away!
I am excited for them to get a glimpse into the life that I have been living for the past 8 months.
I am excited for them to see first hand the love that God has for His people and for them to experience a new side of him!
I am excited to see them interact with the family i have been living with for this journey.
I am excited for them to see and experience missions for the first time even if just for a week!
I am excited for the conversations that we are going to have.
I am excited to see God move in their lives.
I am excited to share all that I have seen and been apart of.
I am excited to see their view change even in that short of a week.
I am excited for the worship that they are going to get to experience!
I am praying for open hearts and open minds going into this trip.
I am praying for eyes to be opened.
I am praying for freedom.
I am praying for relationships of my squad mates and their parents to be mended.
I am praying for God to show up and completely move in the hearts of my squad and the parents that are coming!
I am praying that lives will be changed, and that we won’t hold anything back!
Thank you Lord for this incredible journey that you have me on, I wouldn’t change it for the world!
