Ok, so maybe training camp wasn't the worst- but it did smell like feet everywhere we went.

- I slept on a bus with a small girl using my leg as a head rest and another two girls using my leg as a place to put their feet (and yes they smelled like roses)
- Whenever people were confused about where to be and when to be there I would lie down and take a nap. (so much so that some people started calling me "Paw Paw")
- The food was great, the quantity was not.
- I watched a man from El Salvador swim 100 yards across a pond just to bond with us and he didn't even know how to swim.
- I got to use my titanium spork (a huge highlight in the week for me!)
- I didn't open my bible once, but God was speaking to me and every one else, every moment of every day.
- I learned how to properly instagram with a girl who listens to hardcore music (who would have guessed)
- Our squad leaders didn't have smiles glued to their faces and didn't yell every word- that was refreshing.
- I met a group of guys that I feel like will help me grow throughout these next 11 months.
- Not a single girl I met at training camp said that she could confidently cut my hair on the race- so I'm just going to grow it out as long as I can (momma's gonna love that)
- I feel like I needed to add an 11th number, because of everyone else doing that… (peer pressure!)
Training camp was good, needed, and enjoyed. I'm currently at $5,000 for my fundraising! Thank you everyone who has been following this, and thank you everyone who has been praying for me!
