Hi, y’all!!!! We have now been at our first location in Los Chiles for almost a week! This has been the most challenging week of my life, but I am continuing to learn how to truly serve others. We have been doing intense manual labor for the majority of our day, and have been truly blessed by our ministry hosts. My team has continued to grow closer together and love each other as sisters in Christ.

Our main job has been to remove wood from the side of a mountain so that our hosts can rebuild their church. We have been making cement posts and carrying them on our shoulders up the hill to create a fence. Our hosts mission is to create a missionary school. Knowing that our hard work will help others get the chance to serve the Lord makes the nonstop sweat worth it.

The sun comes up around 5 and goes down around 6! We are thankful for cold showers, flushing toilets, and the occasional cafe that we find with wifi!!!! The nights are hot and we are glad when it rains in the evening because it gets a little bit cooler and helps us sleep better. The heat exhaustion is REAL.

Theres SO much more that I can’t put into words. Thank you for your continued prayers. We head to our next location at a YWAM base on Saturday. Please pray for safe travels. We will be there until the 27th and fly back to Georgia for debrief and I will be home the 29th. Time is already going by SO fast!

I am so blessed by each and every supporter and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! Please continue to pray for our families. We miss them and they miss us even more.

Christ is the one who gives me the strength I need to do whatever I must do. Philippians 4:13

Love always,

Hallie
