Last week we said goodbye to Ireland. I’ll admit that it was bittersweet. We were tired of the rain, tired of the cold, and tired of the wind. However, it will always hold a special place in my heart. Country numero uno. I had a bit of a hard time with our ministry for the month because I’m a very impatient person. Seed-planting ministry is harder for me to get encompassed in. I like to see results – and I like things to go according to my schedule. Talking to random people in a park about Jesus was a scary thought to me. I’m shy and awkward. But I was pleasantly surprised. I talked to quite a few teenagers and they were all very open to discussion. They told me what they believed and why, and I told them what I believed and why. No one I talked to fell to their knees and begged to become a Christian – and I’m cool with that. I want them to chew on what was said, to think and continue to discuss. I’ll probably never see the harvest of those conversations, but I’m learning to put things in God’s hands. Another thing that was hard was not having a consistent set up of people to minister to. However, I found that the people of Abundant Life provided that for me. I was so inspired by their faith, their dedication, and their desire to reach Ireland. Every night we met to pray. And they continue to pray even though we’re gone. They were beautiful people, standing strong for a beautiful country.

I still don’t have my own video ready, but Ken and Aaron both have posted videos for your enjoyment.
