He cut down cedars, or perhaps took a cypress or oak. He let it grow among the trees of the forest, or planted a pine, and the rain made it grow.
Isaiah 44:14
Growth can be a huge part of this journey I’m on. Growth can’t come without a bit of storms. It’s the storms and trials we walk through that can bring refining in our lives. We can choose to hold onto the Lord through the storm or try to face it on our own. However, why face it alone when you have someone who has already experienced the worst of what the cross brought. Because of the Lord’s strength, grace, love, peace, and hope, something truly beautiful can bloom once that storm clears. Every storm is an opportunity to see the work of the Lord in our lives.
Bloom where He has planted you.
Friends, when life gets really difficult, don’t jump to the conclusion that God isn’t on the job. Instead, be glad that you are in the very thick of what Christ experienced. This is a spiritual refining process, with glory just around the corner.
1 Peter 4:12-13
