so our schedule has been pretty hectic lately and I haven’t got to hug on some babies in a little while. I started to wonder when I could go and play with them. I was getting sad because I wanted to soak up every moment I could get with them. One day me and some other teammates got the chance to play with them all day. It was a blast, I count believe how tired I was after playing with them.
first we started with them inside the big lodge. We played soccer, colored a whole lot of pages, and tickled the heck out of the little ones while we played tag. Then we went out into the cold air and headed straight to the playground.
I got to spin all 10 kids on a carousel which was quite interesting at times.
I saw all of them jump on the trampoline and go up and down on the teeter-totter, I even jumped and helped on that one.
then 5:00pm came around and we were told the day before that this was the time to bring the kids by to the foster house but turns out the foster mom didn’t need them back till 6:30 so we got extra time with them which was great. That was definitely a gift from God and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
so we decided to play a long big game of hide and go seek
…then it kinda turned into something different not really sure what happened, but it was fun so I don’t think it matters.
then I got to swing one of my favorite kids Timofey. He started to repeat every thing that I said and it was to cute not to record.
All I can say is that it was a truly fun day.
I LITERALLY GOT TO BE A KID AND PLAY WITH ALL THE OTHER KIDS.
God saw me and provided.
