This a little bit of a weird title but I think it perfectly fits the bill when it comes to the people I met. When my squad was in the state of Assam back in India, we did ministry a little different each day. One day we did a prayer walk because the village was mainly Hindi and they wanted the Lord’s presence to be in the city. There was one church connected to the ministry so they wanted us to pray for the people that walked into the church and for the congregation of the church to walk the life that The Lord called them to.

This is all I thought we were doing for the day but after we left the church building we didn’t take the road to get back home we took another one. I was a bit confused because nobody asked what we were doing, but I just kept walking anyway because we were bound to do something interesting. After we walked up a long set of stairs we came to a very nice house that we were told to go in. We all settled in what looked like to be a living room where the floor was made of bamboo. Cool right, well it gets better. A man walks in with the biggest smile I have ever seen and starts counting all the people that were in his house 1, 2, 3,… all the way to 36. Then proceeds to say what a great day the Lord has made and then starts to sing camp songs starting with “this is the day.”

This man wasn’t just happy he was filled wth the joy of the Lord. I will admit it I cried a couple of times hearing him share his story and sing all the fun camp actions songs he could remember.

His whole left side was going numb and he got constant headaches but it didn’t matter because he rose up every morning and gave praise to the Father for being good good Father and for giving him everything that he could ever need.

^ This is him and his wife.

One of the last houses we went to had a sweet older lady. She was the monarch of the family after her husband died a couple years back. She just reminded me of the older lady that you just want to sit and listen to all day.

Gap L got the chance to pray for her and ask the Father what he wanted her to hear. The Lord had some awesome things to tell the lady. You could tell that she needed to hear them as well.

This day was unexpected and the Lord used very bit of it. He didn’t hesitate to show off His children. Every second I spent with these angels was just what I needed to see. The Lord washed my heart with His love and peace.
