Praise Jesus!!
Last night was my first big fundraising event—a trivia night—as I’m sure so many of you know from all the times I spammed your timeline’s advertising it 😉 !
For the last 4 (ish) months, my friends, family, and I have been praying for this night. We prayed that there would be a good turnout, that everyone who walked through the doors would come in with an open mind and giving heart, that we could come together as a community and share many laughs and have a really fun time, that there wouldn’t be (too many..haha) technical difficulties, that the story of how the Lord is working in my life would touch someone, that God would bring peace and confidence to those of us speaking in front of everyone, and that together we could all raise over $1000!
Every single one of those prayers were answered. I was absolutely blown away last night from the Lord’s faithfulness. It was so clear to me that He was present and so clear that He had a hand on every part of last night.
I also wanna give a little shout out to my friends and parents who helped coordinate, plan, and make last night possible! Thank you to every single one of you reading this that was a part of last night and for listening to the Lord’s tug on your heart to prayerfully and financially support what He is doing in my life.
Together, we raised $1,841.25!!!!!! Holy crap is all I gotta say! I am now 23% funded!!!!!!
