With a new continent, new country, new culture, and new leadership changes also came new team changes (I’m in Vietnam now in case you weren’t aware). Therefore, I am no longer with my old teammates on Overflow.

Our team name is Sea Salt. We chose that as an acronym for South East Asia Strong Ambassadors of Light and Truth. Colossians 4:6 says “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer each person.” Salt preserves relationships. It purifies and softens. It melts ice aka hard hearts. And salt prevents infections in wounds aka bitterness. But too much salt destroys a dish. We wish to be a team that is full of grace—full of God’s help. We want to have unity with each other and in Christ. And we will also be near the ocean a lot in the middle portion of our race so it’s only fitting that we chose to be called Sea Salt.
