Month 3 has officially come to an end. I cannot believe I’ve been on the race for over 100 days now. The days are long, but the months are short. I’m typing this blog right now from my kitchen table in Malawi. Team Overflow arrived in Lilongwe, Malawi today around noon. The Lord has blessed us with our own house all to ourselves. We could not be more thankful. A space to recharge and spend what may be our last month together as a team is much, much needed as Zambia was quite challenging physically, mentally, and spiritually for the 5 of us ladies. This month, we will be partnering with Youth for Christ. Again, we are super pumped that we just so happen to be paired with YFC again because our experience with YFC in Zimbabwe was better than we could’ve ever asked for.
Below are some words/phrases that explain our month in Zambia. I realize many of them won’t make sense to anyone besides myself and my own team, and that’s okay. I’ve enjoyed writing these “words that describe…” blogs each month because I know a year from now when I’m feeling nostalgic, I’ll be happy I wrote each of these blogs to look back on all the good memories.
