Oh my goodness how exciting is this?? My first official post on my blog that is just for my mission! Many of you who are reading this know me but I am sure there will be many who read this that may not know me, so with that I would love to give a little introduction of myself.
My name is Haley Heberer, I am currently 17 years old and I am from the itty bitty town of Keokuk, Iowa. I am a senior at Keokuk High School this year (eeeek, finally!) and will be graduating only 5 days before heading off to training camp for my mission! I met the Lord just over two years ago and fell absolutely in love with our sweet Jesus. Overseas missions have been such a strong desire placed in my heart ever since I met the Lord and the fact that it’s a dream coming to life now is absolutely mind blowing. Thanks God. I feel so blessed by all the things God has already done within preparing me for this mission, and I am so eager to continue walking with Him as it gets closer to my mission and then actually being overseas! On this blog, I will be able to update you all on what the Lord is doing in my life and heart leading up to launch (the day I leave!) and then also while I am in both Thailand and Cambodia. This blog also gives you access to a link where you can donate to my trip. I would be so grateful if you considered partnering with me in the Kingdom and donating to my trip. Another way to partner with me that would be so deeply appreciated is prayer! There is a lot of preparation that comes with my mission including the Lord preparing my heart, finances, sanity for my parents (they’re a little weary, but I think they’re gonna make it haha), and so much more that praying for and with me would be so helpful and appreciated. I am so deeply excited for this opportunity and am so overwhelmed with all of the encouragement, support, and love I have received.
