Two weeks ago at our Month 8 debrief, we entered into the last leg of this journey with a bit of a twist… TEAM CHANGES!! For the last three months, we are now in our third and final team of the Race and after nearly two weeks with this group of ladies, I am SO excited to see what the Lord has in store.
As these are the women I’ll be doing life with for the next three months, I want to formally introduce… TEAM WHIP!!!

Just a few fun facts about WHIP:
WHIP = Walking Humbly In Power, the team vision we all desire to walk out for the Remainder of the Race and beyond!
Our team verse is Ephesians 4:15-16
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
We’re all about that unified body, baby!
Shea and I will have been on a team together for all eleven months! So have Melissa and Naomi!
Kasie and Naomi came on the Race as best friends and after not having been on a team together for eight months, they get to spend the last three months together. I may have cried tears of joy when I found out they got to be on a team together.
We SLAY the accent game.
We have every spiritual gift on our team except an apostle.
Only two of us have a love language of physical touch. We all are high on the quality time scale.
We all have a desire to be active without sweating, which makes having a pool at our hostel this month ideal! We have daily swim lessons and have been exercising more than we have for the whole Race.
We love puzzles but have trouble finishing them.
Between the six of us, we have three guitars, two egg shakers, a cajoun, a trumpet and a harmonica – worship has been pretty fun and jam sessions pretty frequent 🙂
