Tonight was our first night in the bars getting to know the prostitutes
and I could never have guessed how things would have turned out..

Before we left for the bars, we were able to spend a lot of time in
prayer as a team and ask the Lord what direction He was leading us in
for the evening. Our primary objective is to go into these bars and show these women Christ’s love and to help them begin to understand how valuable they are. I feel that it is equally important to show the same things to the men that are coming into these bars to purchase the women. We prayed for the Holy Spirit to lead us to people of peace and as always, He was
faithful.
My teammate Kelsi and I went together and were able to form
relationships with the women and as well as the bar owners. We prayed that the love
of Christ would be the only thing these ladies saw and those prayers were effective to say the least.

In the first bar, We had the opportunity to talk with a few women and within minutes of talking with them, they began to open up and share details of their lives with us. By the end of our time together, they were inviting both of us back and looking for a chance to hang out again tomorrow night and hugged us on our way out, which is not a part of their culture at all. It was such a blessing to see how God really was able to show these women how much He loves them through us.
Please continue to pray for the hearts of these women working in the bars, the owners of the bars, the men purchasing time with the women, and also for our protection as we enter into the dark spiritual climate that surrounds these bars we are ministering in each night.
