Hello friends and family! Sorry long time no post, but I have very important news. For starters my team and I did arrive safely in Thailand early in December and we have been living in a small village outside of Chiayaphum (central Thailand). Life here is quite different than I expected but the country is beautiful, the people are precious, and God is doing some amazing things here. We live and work with YWAM Chiayaphum run by a local family. Nun and Raem are the parents to two biological children, Asia (4) and Nation (2), and 4 adopted children, Naomi (5), Paul (7), Tip (11), and Yud (16). Our ministry consist of living life along side them, soccer, and sometimes teaching English. Right now however our biggest priority has been building a new house for Raem’s elderly parents, because she is the youngest child she is responsible by Thai culture to care for them. The family beautifully solely relies on the Lord to provide for them financially, and at times receives ridicule from their family and community. Unfortunately, building a house and caring for children is very costly, and the family has already gone over budget from a donation they received, with lots of work left to be done. This family has the biggest heart for knowing the Lord and making His name known to the nations, and their faith in the Father is even bigger. It breaks my heart to see them struggle so much financially when their intentions are so pure. My team and I would ask you to please prayerfully consider joining us in raising money for the new house, and the YWAM Chiayaphum ministry. Help us help them bring the Gospel to such a spiritually lost (and Buddhist) nation, and be a part of what the Lord is doing here in Thailand. The money is needed somewhat immediately making this message pretty urgent. We are hoping to raise 10,500 USD to relieve their financial stress, complete the house, pay some bills, and keep their adopted children. Thank you all for loving and supporting me so well, and thank you in advance for anyway you can help our family.
