Here is a video of India! (Be sure to click HD for better quality!)

My team and I (We had team changes in the beginning of the month, so meet my new team, Bellator! If you want to know more about them, go to the left side column of my page and click on their name. It’ll take you to their blog page!) have been here for about 2 weeks and half and I absolutely love this country.

I sent out a email to my prayer team about the pros and cons of India and I thought I would share it to you guys as well

Cons:
-We eat rice ALL the time. The food is super spicy, I am constantly getting diarrhea because of it.
-We get attacked by bugs and mosquito bites all over our body because the rooms we sleep in has broken windows.
-There is no ac so its freakin hot. We got to bed sweating and wake up freezing (it gets very cold during the middle of the night).
-We can’t show our ankles and shoulders here, so we have to wear long baggy pants, long short sleeve shirts to cover our butts and thighs, so we are sweating all day long.
It smells awful in India.
-There are no road rules so driving in tuk tuks on the roads are crazy, I’m so thankful for America’s driving.
-We haven’t seen rain since November.
-We haven’t used a regular toilet in 3 weeks (squatty potty here in india).
-We don’t shower very often and when we do, it’s bucket showers.
-We eat with our right hands and use it as a “silverware” (they don’t use real silverwares).
-We eat on the floor, dirty concert floor.

Pros:
It’s so colorful here, the buildings, the people, the foods, etc.
-Saris are everywhere (look it up), I bought one myself for 4 bucks!
-The people here are filled with mercy and hospitality, they will do anything for you, especially if you are a foreigner.
-Again with the people, they are so loving and want to know everything about you
The sunsets here are like no other, so beautiful.
-I love the villages. There’s no wifi access in the villages so kids are playing with one another. Basically a community of people hanging out with on another.
-Kids love you to death here in India and they give you henna tattoos.
-They have monkeys and palm tress and fresh coconuts (I ate a coconut for the first time the other day and it was so good)
If the food isn’t spicy or rice, it is really yummy.
The stars here are breath-taking, at night time we (the team and I) go up on the top floor (there are no roofs here in India) and lay on the floor and stare at the stars and talk for hours.

I could go on about India, but that will do for now. Even though I love this country, the ministry is tough. Don’t get me wrong, I love our ministry (We are going to different orphanage homes every three to four days and sharing the gospel to the kids and giving His love to them.) but it gets very tiring. Imagine having to get up at 5am or 6am everyday and play with the kids all day long. We do not get very much rest/alone time (yesterday and today was our first off days and only off days of the whole month). So it gets very exhausting. But I am trying my very best to stay positive and give it my all to the beautiful kids!

We have another week here in India, during that time we will be going to two more different homes! We head to Malaysia next for month six!! Please pray that we will finish strong and really shine His light. Pray that we are able to bring joy to our orphanage kids. Pray that we are able to bring His love to them. Pray that we are able to bring his light as we walk through different villages of India.

Also, I am needing your help. I am currently at $12,763. I did not make my final deadline of $16,267. I need to have a little over $3,000 raised in order for me to stay on the race. I have faith in this and believe the Lord will show a miracle and provide. If He has called you to help me out, finically, you may donate through here by clicking the “Support Me” tab on the top right corner. If you are unable to help out, finically, please help out by praying and sharing my blog to others.

God Bless
