AFRICA!
I found out this week that I have been placed on the route that is going to Africa! As of right now, I still don’t know exactly where we will be going, but I believe it’s Botswana and Zambia. As January quickly approaches, so many emotions flood through my life about leading, leaving, and everything in between. The biggest realization I have had is that this is exactly where God wants me, even if it’s not where I want me. God has plans for our lives far greater than we can even begin to comprehend and I am excited and nervous and ready all at the same time to see where this next season of life takes me. As I’ve been praying to prepare my heart for this trip, I am continually reassured that this is going to project me into whatever the Lord has for me next. I don’t know what is in store but I know it is good and it is right where I’m supposed to be.
As mentioned in my last blog, I am currently fundraising support for this trip and I would love for you to prayerfully consider donating to my next season of life. I have to raise $2,000 by the time I leave on January 14, 2017. If I could get 100 people to donate $20, I would meet my fundraising goal. All donations are tax-deductible and go towards travel, food, lodging and travel insurance for the 3 months I will be gone. I would also love your prayers, in the time leading up to leaving and the 3 months on the field. Prayers for the Lord to use me in ways I can’t even imagine, for the voice of God to be louder than the voice of the enemy, and for the relationships that will be formed with the team and with the people we will be meeting.
