My name is Haley, I recently graduated from Colorado State University (Go Rams!) with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. This blog is where I will share everything from my joys to my struggles to what God is teaching me and doing in the world around me.

I currently work as a cashier at Jax, a local outdoor gear store, and also as a head lifeguard and swim instructor at the local recreation center. After I graduated, I had this yearning on my heart to travel and see the world. I have had a lot of friends who have gone on the Race and I knew that something big was in store for me in my next step in life. For the last couple years I have been leading a small group of girls at a local youth group and I am always amazed at the ways God shows up in their lives as we do life together.
I have a mom and dad, a younger sister and younger brother, and 3 cats. I love music and going to concerts, spending time with my friends, watching sports (Go Pack Go), and spending time in God’s creation. The ways I see God the most are in the stars and in the ocean… The stars amaze me because there are so many of them, some that we can’t even see, and God placed each one of them in the sky. I see the power of The Lord in the ocean, it is this beautiful thing that is powerful enough to cause so much destruction, but it just kisses the shore and returns back to sea.
I am excited to see God in new ways over the next year. To experience miracles, big and small, to grow in my faith, to see the world, and to share my journey with everyone. I realize there is so much more in this world than what we could ever experience by just hearing about it. So here’s to the next step, and the chance of a lifetime, thank you for joining me on it and I pray that God shows up in ways you never imagined and we can do life together, even from around the world.
