Hello Wonderful People!

Thanks for checking out my blog, glad you stopped by.

I’ve never really been one for blogging, but what better time to start than now?

About me…

I’m 24, from Columbia, SC, and I come from an awesome family.

I’ve been so blessed thus far to be able to have experienced and done the things that have led me up to the Race, and also super blessed to be able to go on it!

I went to college in  Washington, DC at GWU, where I majored in Sociology.  I’d always felt a calling toward nonprofits and wanting to help people, but I let my head get in the way of my heart, which took me to Los Angeles for a year after college to work in different areas of the entertainment industry.  I couldn’t shake this calling though, knowing that I needed to get more out of life and I knew that to do that I needed to do something that allowed me to do good for the world.  So… car packed, I drove back cross country to the east coast, not quite sure of what I was going to do, but just knowing it needed to be done.  Along the way back to DC, I stopped in South Carolina to work for a bit and figure out exactly what area of nonprofit I wanted to try to get into.  My time in SC has been invaluable though because while here I discovered my faith again and really started building my relationship with Christ.

Long story kind of short… one thing led to another, I found the World Race, or should I say God brought me to it, and the rest is history.

I’m ready to run this race for God so thanks for joining me on my journey!

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us” Hebrews 12:1
