This is our team minus Brandon; he always seems to be taking the pictures instead of being in them. We are in a boat in Bangkok, Thailand going to visit some of the famous Buddhist temples. The water was nasty!
A HUGE Buddhist idol at the temple. The temples were so ornate, with idols of Buddha, past monks, and other statues that I’m not sure what they stood for.
MONKEYS! And look they are twins. There were actually hundreds of monkeys here, and they were so greedy. We brought cucumbers and corn to feed the monkeys, but if you didn’t hurry and throw the food for them they would literally start grabbing and scratching you to get the food out of your hand. They may be cute but the monkeys sure aren’t made to be pets.
There are fruit stands like this everywhere, with the best fruit I have ever tasted. I don’t know how I will ever be able to eat a pineapple in the states again. I have also tried about 5 or 6 fruits that I had never heard or seen before. Yummy.
Team Seven:Eleven on top of a famous temple in the province of Ratchaburi. The temple overlooked all of Ratchaburi, with mountains, rice fields, and the city all in its view. The temple is famous because it has Buddhist, Hindu, and Chinese religious symbols and idols mixed throughout it. We were able to pray over the city of Ratchaburi during our visit here.
Our team with the University students (and a few stray dogs) after the amazing day at Saan’s families’ pineapple farm. Keep praying for these students
I hope you enjoy the pictures and that they give you a visual of who to be praying for.
