WHIRLWIND……
Well that’s an understatement!!! How in the world do I put into one blog the last 10 months of my life!?!
These last 10 months since being off of the field have been filled with every emotion possible.
Leaving my squad crushed me and being sick with a mass and several tumors definitely was NOT my idea of finishing my race well.
Though leaving my family of S squaders that I had lived in community with for 3 solid months was tragically hard… I wouldn’t take back a single thing that has happened over the last 10 months of my life.
I have been blessed abundantly on every level possible. God cares about the small things too! He covered everything from my doctors being from the Philippines and Thailand( those were my next countries) to covering every single detail of things when I returned home.
I have met people I never would have met on the field and formed relationships that definitely are those type of relationships that you just look at each other and say “this is a God thing.”
My outlook on life will never be the same and I will never take another breath for granted.
I have learned to love stronger and trust deeper. I have met God on a level I never thought possible and KNOW that from here it only gets better.
I have been given extra time with family and friends and still able to have my squad family and pray alongside them from stateside.
It’s been a huge blessing! Although I didn’t get to finish the race with my original S squaders; I feel like I have been abundantly blessed with the best of both worlds!
I would go into great detail of these past 10 moths but there really just aren’t even words to begin to describe the intensity of everything that has happened or come from it…. so i’ll just say this… GOD IS GOOD.. no matter what the circumstance good or bad… He will always make a way when there seems to be no way.. when you feel like giving up keep holding on because there is breakthrough for you!!!
After 10 long months… IM HITTING THE FIELD AGAIN with iSquad… Ill be leaving in September…
