COME AWAY WITH ME..
Have you ever really let that sink in? Our heavenly Father speaking to you saying “come away with Me.”
As I was laying down earlier tonight, I kept hearing the Lord softly speak into my spirit, “come away with Me.” All I could think about was the song Come Away by Jesus Culture. Oh how many times have I sang this song over and over but have never let it truly sink in for what it REALLY means.
“COME AWAY WITH ME”
So many times throughout life we get so caught up in the people around us, our work day, school day, sporting event, SERVING, whatever it may be, we let it distract us from the true meaning of life.
We are called to be like Jesus but how can we be like Jesus if we never just lay everything down and GO AWAY WITH HIM.
We are so quick to jump all over going to a concert or football game.. we are consumed by the world of technology and always on twitter, insta, facebook or whatever else thats being used to distract us. We won’t go anywhere without our phones and if we forget them we go back to get them and If we lose our phones or they break it seems like we think our whole world is closing in.. When is the last time we have been that intense or intentional about being with Jesus? When is the last time you turned the car around to go back to the house because you forgot your bible? When is the last time you carried your bible around with you like you do your phone? We are all so guilty of this!
He just wants us to go away with Him. He wants us to lay aside all of the distractions and JUST GO BE WITH HIM! If we would give Him even a small portion of our day without distractions.. no phone, no tv, no computer, nobody around.. just you and Jesus… our lives would be so incredibly different. If we would just step away from everything and give Him intimate time, He would romance our hearts in such a deep way and our walk with Him would be so incredibly deep that people wouldn’t have to question if we were christians or not. If we would go away with Him on a regular basis, the evidence of Jesus would be so strong within us and pouring out of us that people would be asking questions of what we have that they don’t.
Go and be with Jesus. Let Him take you away with Him. Let Him romance your heart and teach you new things. Seek Him with your whole heart. Let Him be your comfort and your strength… stop searching for all of your answers in this world and other people.. HE IS ENOUGH!! Let Him take you away!

Open up your heart and let Him take you to the painful places that need healing. Let Him take you to the areas that have hardened you with unforgiveness and forgive. Let Him take you back to that moment your innocence was stolen and let Him restore it. Let Him in to your shattered heart and piece it back together perfectly! Let Him come in and be your EVERYTHING. GO THERE WITH HIM.
