Hello and welcome to your team blog site, November Haiti Relief Team!

The
purpose of this blog site is so that you guys can get to know each other
and for us to get to know you!  We will also be posting blogs on this
site with information that you need to know to better prepare you for
your World Race Haiti Relief trip. 

Every week, we will concentrate on an
area of items and/or information that you need to know or have in to us
before you can launch on your World Race.  Below is a checklist of items
or information with their expected deadlines (Please be sure to have
these things completed before the due date).

  •      
    Before September 6, 2010,
    your TRAVEL information (will be announced later) is due; and read about POWER OF ATTORNEY.
  •       

    Before September 20, 2010,
    your PICTURES
    are due;
    and read about PARENTS.

  •       

    Before September 27, 2010,
    your INSURANCE is due; and read about EMERGENCIES.

  •       

    Before October 4, 2010, read about MONEY.

We
expect you to be responsible in completing these tasks on time and to
also read and understand the information that we provide you on this
team blog site.

Every squad is also assigned a Support Coach. 
Your support coach is here to work with you as you raise financial
support for your World Race.  Your support coach is Kara Frate.  Kara
was a participant on the January 2009 World Race.  You can call her at

Below are your support goals and support
goal deadlines:

  • July 14, 2010 – $500
  • August
    18, 2010     – $1,000
  • September 15, 2010 – $1,500
  • October 6, 2010 – $2,500

If

you are below these amounts by the goal dates set, then please be sure
to check in with Kara.  It is your responsibility to contact Kara on
these dates and to check in with her.  She is here to assist and
encourage you.  You want to be sure to maintain great communication with
her so that she can better assist you.
