Hi my name is Samantha, but please call me Sammie Jo! I am from Oshkosh, Wisconsin. I have lived here all my life. I am currently going to college for elementary education. I also work at a day care. I love kids!!! Someday I hope to be a missionary teacher. I also love music! I play a little ukulele, but instruments are not my forte. I am a singer, not in the sense that I have a wonderful voice, but in the sense that I am always singing!!! Don’t fret, you will find out soon enough!!! haha!
I gave my life to Christ almost 2 years ago. Finally trusting in God was best thing that has ever happened to me. God has given me strength to do things I never thought possible. About a year ago I spent 3 months in Kenya working with children and people with HIV/AIDS. It was an amazing experience; I grew closer to our Lord and discovered my heart for missions. It is needless to say that since I put my trust in God, He has done amazing things and continues to work miracles all around me. I am so excited for Haiti, and to serve along side all of you!!!
