read. You’ve blogged. You’ve cried. You’ve packed. Now it’s time!!!!
Below
you will find critical information concerning your Launch. READ CAREFULLY. Once you understand all the information below, you
can arrange your travel plans and enter that information into your profile. If
you have questions, do not hesitate to communicate with the Admissions
Department.

ARRIVAL
INFORMATION
June
1; before 6pm Eastern Time; Atlanta, GA
ARRIVE before
6pm. World Race Staff will meet you at Atlanta Bread Company in the Atrium. Please exit toward Baggage
Claim, pick up your luggage, and ask for directions to the Atrium. It is a
round “food court� type area with a giant dinosaur statue. We will be sitting outside
Atlanta Bread Company.
At
6pm World Race staff will bring you all to an overnight location where you can
meet each other, hang out, and sleep for the night.
Your
flight to Port-Au-Prince leaves at
8:25am on June 2. World Race staff will bring you back to the airport at
approximately 6am to check in and depart toward Port-Au-Prince. Your on-field leadership will meet you in Port-Au-Prince when you land.
Remember,
air transportation often includes delays, therefore plan ahead for the
unexpected and allow ample time between gate arrival, baggage claim and the
time you are supposed to meet. We realize that flight schedules are not always
ideal. Plan on arriving earlier rather than later. If you meet with delays or
problems, have the following phone numbers available, so you can let us know.

Also please make sure that your profile page includes the
phone number where we can reach you during your travel. If you will not have a
phone with you while traveling to your Launch point, please send us a method
for contacting you should any problems arise.
Your return flight will depart Port-Au-Prince on June 30 at
9am and is expected to land in Atlanta
at 5:55pm Eastern time on June 30. You may book a flight from Atlanta to
your home airport after 8pm Eastern time.
If there is no flight after 8pm, you may either spend the night in the airport
or book a hotel room for yourself. You are responsible for your own
accommodations and/or transportation after 8pm on June 30.
