Happy Easter everyone! Today was a pretty chill one here in Novi Pazar. We all slept in, spent time with Jesus (we don’t know of any churches here so we had our own forms of church), some of us went to the gym, made dinner, and watched the Passion of the Christ. Two of our awesome teammates made us Easter “baskets” (think plastic bags) which made it more like your “typical” holiday on the Race 🙂 It was all in all a great day.
But enough about the day. Here is the final installment of the Easter poem series (hint, acrostic):
Returned to whole the three in one
Empty grave, the payment’s done
Defeated death’s ugly clasp
Eternity now is in our grasp
Messiah rose in God’s great pow’r
Provided life in darkest hour
To love us all and make a way
Into relationship with us today
On calvery’s hill He paid the price
No other way, to live is Christ.
