Hi!
Allow me to introduce myself:
My name is Hailey, I am 18 years old and living in Florida, about an hour from Disney World! I’ve been homeschooled since third grade, which has led to amazing opportunities to meet new people and go new places.
I absolutely love adventure; I love traveling to new places and experiencing different cultures. Adventure is a big part of the World Race, so when I heard about it almost three years ago, I felt like this trip was made just for me. The whole idea of living with what you can carry on your back, traveling the world, and spreading Christ’s love was something I had thought of doing in far off dreams, so I learned as much about it as I could and tried to be patient while waiting for the routes for my year to make their appearance.
Just before finding out about this trip, I went to Haiti. I immediately fell in love with the country and wanted to go back as soon as I could. Haiti is one of the five countries I am going to next year, and I am so excited to go back. I will also be going to Dominican Republic, Botswana, South Africa, and the Philippines! I am so happy about my route and the countries I will be visiting, and I can’t wait to see what God will do on this nine month excursion across the world.
