Hi there! Thank you for visiting my blog. Here you will find stories of my adventures while on the race. A little background about me – I am a May 2018 graduate of the University of Arkansas and I currently live in Houston, TX. I’ve moved several times in my short life but I consider Austin, TX my home (because of my firm belief that it is the greatest city in the continental US). I accepted Jesus into my heart at a young age. I knew Jesus had died for me and I asked my mom if she would pray with me. I can still picture us in the living room praying together. It wasn’t until sophomore year of high school, however, that Jesus became real to me. Now I want the whole world to know Jesus like I know Jesus. Of course, I don’t claim to know everything. I am constantly learning more about Him (and myself!). But Jesus has taken me on a beautiful adventure. He has always been by my side. And I believe God is the one who created this whole big world and everyone in it. I think its our responsibility to go out and see it and meet all the people He’s created. I love this quote from Oswald Chambers, “From Jesus Christ’s perspective, there are no nations, but only the world.” Jesus doesn’t see the differences, He just sees us!
