You got the best of me.
You got the girl who was coming out of all her hard growth. I got through all my hard things already, so I was ready to be with you all. You welcomed me with open arms and made me a part of you. The transition was so easy for us. Like I was meant to be on Agape from the beginning. All of you were intentional with me, you wanted to know me. I think about our team and just laugh. We are all so similar, yet each of us are so different. We were the really awkward, strange team. But, I’ve loved every minute. You all taught me that it’s okay to be my own person. We embraced each other’s differences and loved each other because of them. I found community with you all.
Erin, you have loved me well from the beginning, before I was even on the team. You always made a point to come and love on me when I needed it. (Whether I knew that I needed it or not). You’re so wise and so kind.
Hannah, you are a perfect balance of wisdom and hilarity. You had fun in anything we did and when we needed it, you could reel us back into what the Lord had to say.
Rissa, I’ve told you long before we were on a team that you radiate the light of the Lord’s heart. You are so bright and loving.
Malia, one of the most accepting souls. You love and aren’t afraid of being who you truly are. You’re hysterical and encourage others to be their true selves.
Rachel, a listener. You’re kind and always listen to what others have to say or what they’re feeling. You make people feel heard and what they’re feeling is valid.
Abby, I’ve never seen someone who cares for others the way you do. You have the Lord’s heart for the world and wish to see it the way he wants it.
Agape, you loved me before I was a part of you. Thank you for being my people.
